K-Beauty Eye & Nose Magic: How I Learned That "Big Eyes" Aren't Just Born, They're Built

For the longest time, I was pretty smug about my eyes. I was born with naturally big, round eyes, so whenever my friends and I got ready for a night out, I’d just slap on a coat of mascara, swipe on some lip balm, and call it a day. I genuinely thought makeup couldn't do much more for eyes than what nature already gave you. Then came a trip with my college friends where we all got ready in the same hotel bathroom. One of my best friends, who has very soft, hooded almond eyes, sat down with her overflowing K-beauty pouch. I watched her pull out these tiny pencils, nude-toned palettes, and little flat brushes. Fifteen minutes later, I looked over and almost dropped my eyelash curler. Her eyes were literally twice their original size.
