Okay, I have to admit, when I saw the news that Olive Young is teaming up with Sephora, my first reaction was basically: Wait… this is actually happening?!

Starting August 20, 2026, 19 Korean beauty brands curated by Olive Young became available at more than 500 Sephora stores across the U.S., as well as on Sephora.com. There is even a dedicated Olive Young K-Beauty space at the Sephora Times Square flagship in New York City.

As someone who loves Korean skincare, I think this is such exciting news.

If you have ever traveled to Korea, you probably understand why. Going into an Olive Young store is almost an experience by itself. You walk in thinking, “I’ll just look around,” and somehow 30 minutes later you are holding five serums, two sheet masks, a cleanser, and something you have never heard of but suddenly feel like you absolutely need.

That is the magic of Olive Young.

It is where you can see what is actually trending in Korean beauty right now. And now, American beauty lovers can get a little taste of that experience without booking a flight to Seoul.

So What’s Coming to Sephora?

The new Olive Young K-Beauty Edit includes 19 brands, including Abib, Arencia, BANILA CO, beplain, BIOHEAL BOH, Cell Fusion C, FATION, HEVEBLUE, make p:rem, ma:nyo, REJURAN Cosmetics, Torriden, WELLAGE, and WHIPPED.

What makes this especially interesting is that Olive Young helped select the brands based on their popularity, product performance, and influence on Korean beauty trends.

In other words, this isn't just a random collection of Korean products.

It is more like a shortcut to finding out what Korean beauty lovers are excited about right now.

And honestly, I love that idea.

Three Products I Want to Try

Of course, the first thing I did after reading the news was start making my own wish list.

The first product I want to try is Torriden DIVE IN Hyaluronic Acid Serum. I have seen Torriden everywhere in the K-beauty world, and the DIVE IN line is especially famous for hydration. I love lightweight serums that make my skin feel fresh and bouncy without feeling sticky, so this one is definitely going on my list.

Next is beplain Mung Bean Pore Tight-Up Serum.

This one immediately caught my attention because pore care is something I am always interested in. The formula combines mung bean extract with ingredients designed to help skin look smoother and more refined. I also love the idea of trying a product that has already become popular among Korean beauty shoppers rather than simply following another viral trend on TikTok.

And my third pick is BANILA CO Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm.

A good cleansing balm can completely change your nighttime routine. I love that satisfying moment when makeup and sunscreen just melt away, especially after a long day. BANILA CO has been a well-known Korean cleansing brand for years, so having it easier to shop at Sephora makes me want to finally give it a proper try.

And yes, I already know I will probably leave Sephora with more than these three.

K-Beauty Is Getting So Much Easier to Discover

What I find most exciting about this partnership is how much easier it makes Korean beauty for American shoppers.

Before, if you wanted to explore K-beauty, you might have had to search through countless websites, watch TikTok reviews, or order products from overseas.

Now you can simply walk into Sephora.

You can see the packaging in person, pick up the products, read the ingredients, and decide what you actually want to try. That makes discovering new Korean brands feel much less intimidating.

And I think that is exactly why this partnership is such a big deal.

K-beauty is no longer some mysterious trend that only hardcore skincare fans know about. Korean skincare has become a major part of the global beauty conversation, and Olive Young is bringing a very Korean way of discovering beauty into one of America's biggest beauty retailers.

A Little Taste of Korea Without the Plane Ticket

There is still something special about visiting an actual Olive Young in Korea.

I remember the excitement of walking into a Korean beauty store and seeing so many products that I had only seen online. Everything felt new, fun, and slightly overwhelming—in the best way.

But now, if you are in the U.S., you can experience at least a little bit of that excitement at Sephora.

And who knows? Maybe trying your first Torriden serum, BANILA CO cleansing balm, or beplain serum will eventually inspire you to visit Korea and experience the real Olive Young for yourself.

For now, though, I know exactly where I am heading.

Sephora.

And I have a feeling my “I’m just going to look” shopping trip is not going to end with me just looking.

Because that is the thing about K-beauty.

You never know what your next obsession is going to be.
