Olive Young Is Finally in the U.S.: A K-Beauty Lover’s Dream Comes True

      CJ Olive Young Pasadena

Every year when I visit my family in Korea, there is one place I always make time for: Olive Young.

Even if I don't have a shopping list, I somehow end up walking into an Olive Young store. I browse the skincare shelves, pick up products, read the labels, test textures, and discover new Korean beauty products that I had never seen before.

For years, I would return to the U.S. with a suitcase filled with Korean skincare.

But there was always one thing I wished I could do in America:

Walk into Olive Young and shop in person.

Not online. Not through a screen.

I wanted to actually see the products, touch the packaging, test the texture, and discover what's trending in Korean beauty.

And now, that wish has finally come true.

Olive Young Has Arrived in America

In 2026, Olive Young officially opened its first U.S. brick-and-mortar store in Pasadena, California.

The Pasadena store opened on May 29, 2026, marking Olive Young's first physical location in the United States. The company also launched a dedicated U.S. online store at the same time.

And there's more exciting news for K-beauty fans.

A second location opened at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles on June 13, 2026.

According to Olive Young's U.S. customer service information, the current locations are:

Olive Young Pasadena
58 W. Colorado Blvd.
Pasadena, CA 91105

Olive Young Century City
10250 Santa Monica Blvd., Store #2897
Los Angeles, CA 90067

Why This Is Such Big News for K-Beauty Fans

For someone who has been buying Korean beauty products in Korea for years, shopping at Olive Young isn't just about buying skincare.

It's an experience.

You can walk through rows of Korean sunscreens, serums, toners, masks, hair products, makeup and beauty tools. You can discover brands you've never heard of and compare products side by side.

That's very different from scrolling through an online store.

Sometimes I want to know:

  • Is this cream sticky?*
  • How does this toner feel on my skin?*
  • Does this sunscreen leave a white cast?*
  • Which product is everyone talking about right now?*

Being able to physically explore the products makes the shopping experience much more personal.

Olive Young's U.S. stores are designed around this idea of product discovery and hands-on beauty shopping, bringing part of the Korean Olive Young experience to American consumers.

A New Way to Discover Korean Beauty

The arrival of Olive Young in the U.S. is exciting not only for Korean Americans or people who already love K-beauty.

It could introduce many more Americans to Korean skincare.

And that makes me especially happy.

For years, I have watched K-beauty become more popular around the world. Now, people in America can walk into an Olive Young store and experience a little piece of Korean beauty culture for themselves.

For me, the next time I visit Los Angeles, Olive Young is definitely going on my list.

And I have a feeling I'm not the only one.

K-beauty fans in America: are you excited to finally have Olive Young stores in the U.S.?
