A Gentle Cleanser the Whole Family Can Share

Since the whole family uses it, I usually keep several bottles around the house—one in the main bathroom, one in another bathroom, and sometimes an extra one ready to go.

I've always heard that removing makeup properly is just as important as putting it on. The older I get, the more I understand what that means.

It's easy to spend time choosing a good cushion, sunscreen, serum, or moisturizer. But if your cleanser leaves your skin feeling dry and tight every night, your skincare routine doesn't feel quite complete.

That's one reason I've been using Dr.G pH Cleansing Gel Foam.

What I particularly like about this cleanser is that it is an easy product for the whole family to share. It isn't a cleanser designed specifically for women or for one particular age group. Men and women can use it as part of their everyday cleansing routine, making it a practical product to keep in a shared bathroom.

Why I Like It for Everyday Cleansing

Dr.G pH Cleansing Gel Foam has a low-pH formula, designed to cleanse while being mindful of the skin's natural balance. For everyday use, I prefer a cleanser that leaves my face feeling clean and fresh without that overly tight, stripped feeling.

It can be used in the morning or evening, and the 200 mL size is convenient when several family members are using the same bottle.

I also like the idea of keeping one simple, gentle cleanser available for everyone rather than having several different face washes lined up around the sink.

Of course, everyone's skin is different, so even a gentle cleanser may not work exactly the same way for everyone. If someone in the family has very sensitive or reactive skin, it's always a good idea to pay attention to how their skin responds.

One Important Step Before Using It

There is one thing I would definitely emphasize: this is not the product I would rely on to remove heavy makeup by itself.

If I'm wearing cushion foundation, waterproof eye makeup, or other long-wearing color products, I first use a cleansing oil, balm, micellar water, or a dedicated makeup remover.

Then I use Dr.G pH Cleansing Gel Foam as my second cleansing step.

In other words:

Makeup removal → Dr.G pH Cleansing Gel Foam → Skincare

This makes much more sense to me than repeatedly rubbing the skin with a foaming cleanser in an attempt to remove stubborn makeup.

The goal of the second cleanse is to wash away remaining residue, excess oil, and everyday impurities while keeping the cleansing step comfortable.

Why I Recommend It for Families

What makes this cleanser appealing to me is its simplicity.

Men and women can share it.
It can be used morning and night.
The low-pH formula makes it suitable for an everyday cleansing routine.
And the 200 mL size makes sense for a family bathroom.

It's not a complicated skincare product that requires everyone to learn a different routine.

Sometimes, the best family skincare product is simply the one that everyone can reach for every day.

And when it comes to skincare, I think it's worth remembering: good skincare doesn't start with adding more products. Sometimes, it starts with washing everything off properly.
